Join Tess for one of her most popular classes as she guides you through the step-by-step process of creating the most wonderful restaurant worthy pot stickers with homemade wrappers that will take you to culinary heights you never knew you could reach. You will learn the magic of building a full-flavored filling (choose base of pork or chicken), roll out tender homemade wrappers, assemble and cook the pot stickers to perfection with a crispy bottom and tender juicy filling. A bright flavorful sauce will complete the experience. Freezing tips will also be shared. The experience will possibly make store bought pot stickers a thing of the past!

Chisago Lakes Community Education and Right Away Driving School are teaming up to provide the service in greater detail to the Chisago Lakes Area. The class will be held right here on the CLHS campus. Here are the parameters of the course. You will receive a confirmation email for Driver’s Ed. Within that email, there will be a Google link to an Information Document from Right Away Driving School. This document must be completed in full before your child(ren) can attend class. If it is not completed, your child(ren) will not be able to participate. 30 HOURS OF CLASS: Students under 18 must complete 30 hours of in class instruction before they are able to take the permit test. Once the 30 hours of classroom is complete RAD will issue a “Blue card”. Students will take the blue card to the DMV as proof of course completion in order to take the permit test. Once your child passes the permit test at the DMV they can drive with someone over the age of 21. WHAT IS THE TYPICAL CLASS LIKE? WHAT IS NEEDED?: Monday- Friday. 3 hours each day. Our maximum amount of students in a class is 55. Students will need a highlighter, notebook, and writing utensil for class. We provide manuals. Usually class starts with review. The remainder of class incorporates chapter reading, worksheets, group activity, and chapter testing. During early childhood screenings, staff will check your child's: vision, hearing, height, weight, immunization status, thinking & communication skills, & social and emotional development. Parents will have the opportunity to discuss the results of the screening with a staff member.

Play hockey in the gym after school and practice puck handling and shooting skills. Students will work on skills as well as play games. All equipment provided.
