School of FishRecreation & SportsGrades 3rd-Adult. School of Fish is a 2 1/2-hour kids fishing class open to kids (and adults!) from grades 1 and up taught by pro angler and fishing TV show host Mike Frisch. Students learn about lakes, finding fish in those lakes, and some great ways to catch them. They also learn to tie a fishing knot and rig and use a slip-bobber setup. 1st -4th graders will need an adult to accompany them. Shine SisYouth ProgramsThis is a small group course focused on empowering teen girls to shine as their true self. We will do various self reflection, journaling, and group activities aimed to build self esteem and confidence. There will be some spiritual aspects incorporated as well. The goal for this group would be for these young women to leave with some helpful tools to use as they step into the next stages of life, the ability to feel comfortable in their own skin, and new bonds and friendships.Winter 2026 -
Ski & Snowboard ClubRecreation & SportsJoin your friends at ski/snowboard club on Fridays this winter!! This club will provide transportation after school to Wild Mountain in Taylors Falls. Open to 9th and 10th grade to join in on the ski/snowboard club! Equipment & Lessons: • Bring skis/snowboard equipment • Equipment must not be transported to school on the regular school bus • Parents must drop off equipment between 7-7:30am to be stored at Chisago Lakes Middle School - Locker room. If your child is in 9th/10th grade- Parents please drop off equipment between 7:15-7:45am at the Wildcat Community Center Concessions Stand at Door 7. • Equipment may be rented at Wild Mountain each week for $25 (includes skis/snowboard and helmet) Group rentals, lessons and Waivers can be purchased / found using the following link: https://shop.wildmountain.com/groups/details?gc=26CL Lessons need to be scheduled and paid for through our Snow Sports Department.
