School of FishRecreation & SportsGrades 3rd-Adult. School of Fish is a 2 1/2-hour kids fishing class open to kids (and adults!) from grades 1 and up taught by pro angler and fishing TV show host Mike Frisch. Students learn about lakes, finding fish in those lakes, and some great ways to catch them. They also learn to tie a fishing knot and rig and use a slip-bobber setup. 1st -4th graders will need an adult to accompany them. Summer Enrichment WeekSummer Enrichment Week June 8th - 12th 9am - 4pm Wrap around child care available starting at 7am and ending at 6pm REGISTRATION OPENS APRIL 15th, 2026 For youth who have completed Grades K-5 Give your kids a chance to discover their interests and talents during this week that will be jam-packed with fun. Children may choose to take one class per day or up to six classes per day. Below are the registration links and short descriptions of each class. Classes will meet at Chisago Lakes High School, Monday through Friday for 1 hour each between 9am and 4pm. All students will meet in the commons area at the start of each new class. A lunch break will take place from 12:15 to 12:40pm, so be sure to bring a lunch if you are staying all day. Select consecutive classes if selecting multiple classes. A class schedule on a name tag sticker will be provided so your child will know which class to go to next. Registration CLOSES at 12PM⏰ on Friday, June 5th. Classes will appear below at 8am on April 15th. All registration is now through Arux. You will see class hours listed and each class available during that hour will be there. Summer Wildcat Preschool 2026Little Wildcats Preschool (Ages 3-5)Little Wildcats Preschool is a preschool program designed to prepare children and families for the transition to kindergarten. We focus on pre-reading, writing, communication skills, number awareness, and social skills. Licensed teachers and classroom assistants provide daily large group activities, focused small group activities, snack time, and individual choice time at learning centers in the classroom. We use the state approved assessment tool called “Teaching Strategies GOLD” (TS GOLD). It is an ongoing, authentic, observation-based, whole-child assessment system. This means we do not test children. Instead, we engage in an ongoing process of assessment so we learn about what every child knows and can do **If you would like to register your child for the CURRENT school year, please call the Early Childhood Office 651-213-2282 Registration for the 2026-27 school year will open March 2nd @ 8:00am Once at capacity, waiting lists are formed. WaitlistSwim Lessons - PrivateAquaticsLooking for personalized swim instruction? We offer private one-on-one swim lessons for children and adults, as well as semi-private lessons for up to three or four participants per session. All lessons are taught by a trained instructor and are available for ages 3 through adult Each session includes approximately 180 minutes of instruction, typically delivered as six 30-minute classes. Depending on instructor availability and participant preference, sessions may also be structured as fewer, longer classes (e.g., four 45-minute classes or five 36-minute classes). Private Lessons (Ages 3–17): $150 per child per session Adult Private Lessons: $170 per session Semi-Private Lessons (Ages 3–17): $125 per child per session (Ideal for swimmers of similar age and ability level) Please note: Private/semi-private lessons are in high demand. Track & Field ClubRecreation & SportsChisago Lakes track and field coaches and teams will be hosting a youth track and field club this spring, with classes meeting on Mondays and Wednesdays of April & May. Athletes will get the chance to learn about, practice and compete in sprints, relays, distance, hurdles, high jump, long jump and throws. The club will be ending with a meet between North Branch and Chisago Lakes, on May 13th at CLHS Molnar Field. Parents will be expected to transport athletes to and from that meet.Winter 2026 -
