Mill City Museum Tour

Soon after Minneapolis was born on the Mississippi's west bank, the city's flour milling industry skyrocketed. Powered by the mighty river and fed by boxcars of grain rolling in from the plains, the industry gave Minneapolis bragging rights as the “Flour Milling Capital of the World.” Explore where old mingles with new at Mill City Museum, built into the ruins of what was once the world’s largest flour mill. Join us for lunch on the way there and then a tour of the museum and a show at the end. We'll meet at Lakes Free Church at 10:15 a.m. to catch the bus, eat lunch on the way at Jimmy's in Vadnais Heights. We'll arrive at the museum around 12:15 for a self guided tour and then watch a show at 2:00 p.m. before we leave for home. We'll return at approx 4:00 p.m.
