Advanced Tennis ClinicRecreation & SportsThis summer tennis class is designed for athletes who have some tennis experience but aren’t quite ready for high school varsity competition. Meeting twice a week all summer long, this program will help players sharpen their fundamentals of groundstrokes, serving, footwork, and match play while building consistency and confidence on the court. Each session will combine focused instruction with drills, point play, and fun competitive games that reinforce skills in an encouraging environment. It’s the perfect bridge between beginner lessons and high school tennis, with a strong emphasis on improvement, sportsmanship, and having fun. This class is 1 hour long and is offered at 4PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The classes are led by Emma Jacobson. Emma is an assistant coach for the Chisago Lakes Girls Tennis team and played tennis in Mora, MN. She is a terrific coach and loves to help young athletes grow in their love for the game of tennis! This class provides a light to moderate aerobic workout that increases endurance, core strength, and flexibility. Our SilverSneakers-certified instructors lead participants through movements such as walking, jogging, kicking, cross-country ski movements, and jumping jacks, with limited use of equipment. All equipment is provided, but if you have your own, feel free to bring it along. Please wear swimwear. Locker rooms and showers are available on-site. Learn a physical and mental process to execute a repeatable shot. Babysitting SafetyYouth ProgramsThe Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) program from the American Safety and Health Institute provides everything you need to know for safe and successful babysitting. The students will receive their certification card and instructions to access a digital copy of the CABS student book at the end of class. Topics cover everything from getting started with your business to collaborating with parents and children, safety, safe sleep practices, caregiving, emergencies, and basic first aid. CABS will help set you up for babysitting success. Students must be present for the entire class and complete the core learning objectives to receive certification, valid for two years. Students attend this class independently and should come prepared with a notebook and pen.Summer 26 -

Beginner to Intermediate Tennis ClassRecreation & SportsJoin us this summer for a fun and active tennis class that meets twice a week all summer long! The beginner classes are designed for players who are just starting their tennis career and want to have fun while learning some of the fundamentals of tennis - grips, strokes, footwork, serving, and scoring. Each session will include skill instruction, engaging drills, and plenty of games to help athletes improve in a positive and encouraging environment. Most importantly, we’ll emphasize sportsmanship, teamwork, and having a great time playing the game of tennis! These classes are 50 minutes long and are offered at 1PM, 2PM and 3PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Register by grade completed in the 2025-2026 School Year The classes are led by Emma Jacobson. Chisago Lakes Wildcat Elementary Cheer TeamRecreation & SportsOur Elementary Cheerleading Program (Grades 3–5) offers a fun, structured, and progressive introduction to cheer while providing opportunities for athletes to advance. All participants who register will be placed on the Green Team, where they will learn the fundamentals of cheerleading including motions, jumps, dance, and basic stunts in a supportive and inclusive environment. The Green Team will perform at one local game and one exhibition. Athletes who demonstrate strong skills, focus, and commitment will have the opportunity to try out for the Gold Team, an advanced competition team selected from the Green Team. Gold Team athletes will learn more advanced stunts and choreography and will participate in three competitions in addition to one game and one exhibition, with a possible opportunity to attend State based on readiness. All elementary cheerleaders are required to complete Stunting 101 and Cheer 101 to ensure safety, proper technique, and skill development; both classes are included in the program fee at no additional cost. Athletes selected for the Gold Team will have an additional $80 competition fee. $450 includes camp, Stunting 101, Cheerleading 101, music and performance/competition fees, coaching fees, Admin fees.
