3D Printing: Harry Potter-InspiredYouth ProgramsBring a bit of magic to life by creating your own pendant and wand with TinkerCAD while developing real 3D design skills. Students will learn how to model objects in three dimensions, experiment with shapes and structures, and apply their creativity to digital design projects. Along the way, they will take part in Harry Potter–inspired challenges and create themed video games while waiting for their 3D prints to finish. Each student will have two small printed designs sent home. Printing and material fees are included. Bring a USB drive on the last day. Aqua Fitness - Age 55+AquaticsFor ages 55+ Aqua Fitness is a great way to exercise with low impact on joints while strengthening muscles and bones, all while having fun in the water! This class provides a light to moderate aerobic workout that increases endurance, core strength, and flexibility. Our SilverSneakers-certified instructors lead participants through movements such as walking, jogging, kicking, cross-country ski movements, and jumping jacks, with limited use of equipment. All equipment is provided, but if you have your own, feel free to bring it along. Please wear swimwear. Locker rooms and showers are available on-site. Free for all SilverSneakers, Renew Active, and One Pass members! Important Note for Fitness Benefit Members: To use your insurance benefit for this class, you will just need to register as a Wildcat Community Center Member so you can scan in before each session. Chisago Lakes JR Wildcats GymnasticsXcel Team Program Structure: Our Xcel competitive team program offers multiple divisions designed to accommodate gymnasts of varying skill levels and competitive goals. Each division builds progressively on the previous level, allowing athletes to develop confidence and mastery before advancing. Training commitments range from 3-8 hours per week depending on division level. Program Progression and Assessment Advancement between levels requires demonstrated skill proficiency, appropriate training readiness, and competitive success at the current level. Athletes typically spend 1-2 years per division, though individual progression varies based on natural ability, training consistency, and personal goals. Regular assessments ensure athletes train at appropriate levels while maintaining motivation and competitive success. Xcel Bronze Division - $100.00 Gymnasts develop skills across all events, including squat-on vaults, casts and back hip circles on bars, basic jumps and turns on beam, and beginner tumbling and dance routines on floor. Training emphasizes proper technique, strength, coordination, confidence, and progression toward more advanced skills. Bronze is the entry level of competitive gymnastics, with athletes typically training 3–5 hours per week over 2–3 sessions. This level focuses on building strong foundational skills, confidence, and competition readiness while keeping gymnastics fun and engaging. Gymnasts develop skills across all events, including squat-on vaults, casts and back hip circles on bars, basic jumps and turns on beam, and beginner tumbling and dance routines on floor. Training emphasizes proper technique, strength, coordination, confidence, and progression toward more advanced skills. Xcel Silver Division - $115.00 Silver gymnasts typically train 3–6 hours per week over 2–3 sessions. This level builds on foundational skills by introducing more advanced techniques while still offering flexibility for a variety of athletes. Gymnasts continue progressing on all events with stronger vaults, higher casts and tap swings on bars, leaps and turns on beam, and more advanced tumbling and choreography on floor. Training focuses on skill connections, strength, confidence, clean technique, and consistent performance as athletes prepare for higher-level competition. Xcel Gold Division - $125.00 Gold gymnasts typically train 4–6 hours per week over 2–3 sessions and demonstrate a strong commitment to competitive gymnastics while maintaining balance outside the gym. At this level, athletes perform more advanced skills and combinations across all events, including stronger vault techniques, higher-level bar connections, beam acro skills, and more powerful tumbling on floor. Training emphasizes consistency, confidence, strength, artistry, and smooth skill connections as gymnasts continue progressing toward advanced competitive levels. Xcel Platinum Division - not yet offered Platinum is the highest Xcel level and typically requires 5–10 hours of training per week for athletes with serious competitive goals. This level offers advanced skill development while still maintaining the flexibility of the Xcel program. Gymnasts perform high-level skills and combinations across all events, including advanced vaults, cast handstands and connections on bars, acrobatic beam series, and powerful tumbling passes on floor. Training focuses heavily on strength, consistency, precision, artistry, mental toughness, and confident performance as athletes prepare for advanced competition or potential transition into higher-level programs.Pre Team - $80.00The Pre-Team/Track Gymnastics Program is designed to prepare gymnasts for advancement into the competitive Xcel Team by building strong foundational skills, strength, flexibility, discipline, and confidence. Typically lasting 6–12 months with 2–3 hours of weekly training, the program bridges recreational and competitive gymnastics through focused instruction on conditioning, flexibility, vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise skills. Gymnasts develop core and upper-body strength, flexibility, body control, and proper technique while progressing through age-appropriate skill development on all four events. Training also emphasizes mental readiness, including focus, resilience, and consistent effort.
