Xcel Team Program Structure:
Our Xcel competitive team program offers multiple divisions designed to accommodate gymnasts of varying skill levels and competitive goals. Each division builds progressively on the previous level, allowing athletes to develop confidence and mastery before advancing. Training commitments range from 3-8 hours per week depending on division level.
Program Progression and Assessment
Advancement between levels requires demonstrated skill proficiency, appropriate training readiness, and competitive success at the current level. Athletes typically spend 1-2 years per division, though individual progression varies based on natural ability, training consistency, and personal goals. Regular assessments ensure athletes train at appropriate levels while maintaining motivation and competitive success.
Xcel Bronze Division - $100.00
Gymnasts develop skills across all events, including squat-on vaults, casts and back hip circles on bars, basic jumps and turns on beam, and beginner tumbling and dance routines on floor. Training emphasizes proper technique, strength, coordination, confidence, and progression toward more advanced skills.
Bronze is the entry level of competitive gymnastics, with athletes typically training 3–5 hours per week over 2–3 sessions. This level focuses on building strong foundational skills, confidence, and competition readiness while keeping gymnastics fun and engaging.

Xcel Platinum Division - not yet offered
Platinum is the highest Xcel level and typically requires 5–10 hours of training per week for athletes with serious competitive goals. This level offers advanced skill development while still maintaining the flexibility of the Xcel program.
Gymnasts perform high-level skills and combinations across all events, including advanced vaults, cast handstands and connections on bars, acrobatic beam series, and powerful tumbling passes on floor. Training focuses heavily on strength, consistency, precision, artistry, mental toughness, and confident performance as athletes prepare for advanced competition or potential transition into higher-level programs.
Pre Team - $80.00
The Pre-Team/Track Gymnastics Program is designed to prepare gymnasts for advancement into the competitive Xcel Team by building strong foundational skills, strength, flexibility, discipline, and confidence. Typically lasting 6–12 months with 2–3 hours of weekly training, the program bridges recreational and competitive gymnastics through focused instruction on conditioning, flexibility, vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise skills. Gymnasts develop core and upper-body strength, flexibility, body control, and proper technique while progressing through age-appropriate skill development on all four events. Training also emphasizes mental readiness, including focus, resilience, and consistent effort. To advance, athletes must demonstrate proficiency in required physical skills and technical execution, ensuring they enter the Xcel program physically prepared, technically sound, and ready for the commitment of competitive gymnastics.
