Introduction to Yin Yoga and Vinyasa Flow
Yin Yoga is a slow-paced, meditative style of yoga where poses are held for longer periods, typically three to five minutes. This practice targets the deep connective tissues of the body—such as the ligaments, joints, and fascia—rather than the muscles. By holding passive postures in a state of stillness, Yin Yoga encourages deep relaxation, improves joint mobility, and helps cultivate inner calm.Vinyasa Flow is a dynamic, fast-paced practice that links breath with movement. In this class, you will flow continuously through a creative sequence of yoga poses (asanas), transitioning from one posture to the next using the inhale and exhale. This practice is designed to build heat, strength, and flexibility while promoting mindfulness and focus. For all levels. Bring water and a mat. If you are dropping in to the class, you must register prior to class starting. WCC Members - Get 10% off these classes - Call 651-213-2600 or email us to get your discount -
