Starting SoonOpen Swim(Family/Recreational Swim)AquaticsOpen Swim Hours - All Ages Welcome! Our open swim hours are a great opportunity for swimmers of all ages to enjoy the pool! Whether you're practicing your swimming lesson skills or just having fun, we invite you to dive in. For Children: If your child is under 4 feet tall, an adult may be required to stay in the water with them in the main pool. If your child wants to swim in the kiddie pool, an adult must accompany them in the pool. Swim Test Requirement: Kids wishing to swim in the middle or deep end, or use the diving board, must first pass a swim test. Swim Test: Swim 25 yards (one length of the pool) using the front crawl with arms out of the water and face in the water, without stopping or touching the bottom of the pool. Each swimmer is allowed one attempt per day for the swim test. Safety Guidelines: Lifejackets are allowed in the shallow section, but only if an adult is in the water with the child. Lifejackets are not permitted in the middle or deep end. Goggles are allowed, but only those with eye coverings (scuba-style goggles with nose covering are not allowed for safety reasons).
