Aqua Fitness - Age 55+AquaticsFor ages 55+ Aqua Fitness is a great way to exercise with low impact on joints while strengthening muscles and bones, all while having fun in the water! This class provides a light to moderate aerobic workout that increases endurance, core strength, and flexibility. Our SilverSneakers-certified instructors lead participants through movements such as walking, jogging, kicking, cross-country ski movements, and jumping jacks, with limited use of equipment. All equipment is provided, but if you have your own, feel free to bring it along. Please wear swimwear. Locker rooms and showers are available on-site. Free for all SilverSneakers, Renew Active, and One Pass members! Important Note for Fitness Benefit Members: To use your insurance benefit for this class, you will just need to register as a Wildcat Community Center Member so you can scan in before each session. This membership is entirely free under your benefit and only takes a few moments to set up! Please stop by the Community Education office PRIOR to your first class so we can get you all set up. Full Body Balance & Flexibility - Age 55+Health, Fitness & WellnessFor Ages 55 and older. Classes are different every week but always focus on improving balance, flexibility, and strength to help prevent falls and increase independence. Our SilverSneakers-certified trainers are professional, supportive, and ensure participants are safe while working at their own ability levels— all while HAVING A GOOD TIME! All movements can be performed either seated or standing, and all equipment is provided. Please wear safe, comfortable shoes (no flip-flops!) and come prepared to have a great time.
