Evening ECFE
Join us for our Evening ECFE class—a monthly, theme-based class for children and working families to be able to participate in the excitement of ECFE.
One Tuesday of each month will feature a different theme for families to explore, learn, and play together alongside early childhood staff and other families. This non-separating class runs from 6:00-7:15 pm. Please register for classes individually. Class costs are $10 per family.

Welcome to the awesome world of apples! Discover the journey of autumn's favorite fruit through hands-on exploration and sensory play. We will learn how apples grow on trees, all about the vibrant varieties of apples, and dip sliced apples into colorful paint to create unique stamped apple prints. Other activities, songs, and stories all about apples!
October 20
Fall Leaves- Our classroom will transform into a sensory wonderland filled with real fall leaves to stomp, toss, crinkle, and touch as we learn about autumn colors and textures. Together, parents and children will dive into hands-on art by creating whimsical leaf people, making magic leaf rubbings with chunky crayons, and using real leaves as nature's paintbrushes. We will wrap up our cozy class with an interactive circle time featuring a colorful fall story and high-energy action songs filled with fun fingerplays and large motor movement.
March 23
Dinosaurs-Step back in time and enter the spectacular world of roaring, stomping, ancient creatures! This mixed-ages family class invites toddlers, preschoolers, and their grown-ups to become paleontologists together as we explore the fascinating giants of the past. Children will discover the unique traits of famous dinosaurs, from the mighty, roaring T-Rex to the long-necked Apatosaurus and the armor-plated Stegosaurus. Families will dive into hands-on science exploration by digging for buried fossils in our prehistoric sensory bins and pressing toy dinosaurs into soft clay to examine their unique footprints. Designed with different developmental stages in mind, this class provides a wonderful opportunity for sibling bonding as brothers and sisters share tools, collaborate on discoveries, and stomp alongside each other during our high-energy circle time filled with captivating dinosaur stories and catchy prehistoric action songs.
April 20
Planting- Celebrate the arrival of spring with a fun-filled, hands-on evening of gardening, sensory play, and messy art! This mixed-ages family class invites toddlers, preschoolers, and their grown-ups to explore the wonders of nature together as we get our hands dirty planting flower and vegetable seeds to take home and watch grow. Families will dive into spring-themed art, using real seeds to build beautiful mosaics. It is the perfect opportunity for siblings of different ages to create, collaborate, and make a mess together while connecting with other families in the community.
